9 YouTube Channels for Spiritual People Who Need to Decompress

I'll say it… I have been watching YouTube.

And I can't even believe I just typed that.

I'm Gen X. YouTube was not created for me. In fact, I've managed to actively avoid it for 10+ years. But with the ongoing descent of television, I have had to seek new sources of nervous system regulation.

Yes, of course I'm walking in nature. I'm hydrating and doing my meditations… most days. But friends, I'm also human. Antiques Roadshow is only on once a week and even then there are only about 20 new episodes a year. I miss Downtown Abbey AND Breaking Bad. I'm not looking for Real Housewives dopamine hits, but dammit, a lady still needs some screen time to disassociate.

Enter YouTube.

Oh. My. Goddess.

I had no idea I would find so many wonderful people sharing their gifts. In the morning, I've got jazz on or a healing frequency. With my journal, a weekly energy report or tarot pull and in the evening, maybe some astrology or a little house dreaming. And I know I'm only scratching the surface!

So today I wanted to pass these little gems on to you. If Gate 8 of my Human Design has taught me anything, it's that I'm apparently great at curating ideas. So here are my current favorites of the best spiritual, calming, and just plain beautiful YouTube channels I've found so far.

Nia_the_Roe — The Alchemy of Home

Her episodes are like mini meditations and devotionals to houses. Fair warning! You want to rearrange your shelves, your altar, and your entire living room, but with what you already own.

Escape to the Country

Okay, this one is just because I've always fantasized about living in the UK, and I love that I never have to hear anyone say "this walk-in closet is too small" or "I can’t stand granite, I'll have to put in marble."

Monterey Bay Aquarium — Jellyfish Cam

If the gorgeous movements of the jellies against the cerulean blue background doesn't get you, the gentle music will. This is nervous system regulation in its purest form.

Malte Martin Handpan

The way this guy throws on a turtleneck and heads out to the forest, where he sits down and lulls me into a state of complete relaxation? I truly wonder if this is what heaven sounds like.

The V&A Museum

The Victoria and Albert Museum has some incredible videos. For instance, the one that showcases their collection of tarot cards was absolutely fascinating!

Minnow Pond Tarot

My dear friend Andrea hooked me up with this one, and it is quickly becoming impossible to live without. Chris's no-nonsense approach is something I look forward to weekly. He also isn't stingy with how many cards he pulls or how many videos he releases each week. If you're looking for a tarot YouTube channel that actually goes deep, this is it.

Amrit Sandhu — Inspired Evolution

This is another one that I didn't expect to love. Very often his video covers feel cringe, but his soft approach, charming energy, and gentle interviews make this one of my favorites. Tune in for the guests, not the clickbait. There's far more depth here than you'll anticipate.

Stefan Burns

This one rates high because he's a geophysicist that isn't denying the metaphysical aspects of the cosmos. Again, his covers can be clickbait-oriented, but his interviews with astrologers and others are full of the kind of depth you wish you had at a dinner party.

Pam Gregory

Last but absolutely not least. Sitting on her plush sofa in the quaint English countryside, Pam shares her knowledge of current astrological transits. But don't let her soft charm fool you because she will absolutely lay the bare truth out. Brutal energetic honesty delivered by your astrological fairy godmother.
